Fans who purchased tickets through Klook for Inter Miami’s game in Hong Kong will be able to get a 50 percent refund, the organizer Tatler announced on Monday.
Those who purchased the tickets through the ticketing platform will receive an email notification today and will have to reply to the email on or before April 12 to respond and accept the terms and conditions of the refund.
Tatler said the refunds will be processed within 30 days from the April 12 deadline and may differ depending on the recipient’s bank policy and process.
Meanwhile, those who purchased tickets directly from Tatler Asia Limited, including tickets from event sponsors and partners will be contacted by their dedicated account manager with information on ticket refunds.
In response, a spokesman for the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau said Tatler's offering a refund is "a responsible move," which shows the organizer's positive and committed attitude to resolve the matter.
"The government welcomes the organizer for honoring its pledge to announce details of the refund arrangement by mid-March," the spokesman said. "Those who intend to accept the refund should complete relevant procedures as soon as possible."
