Police locate man who went missing after going hiking in Tai Po

A man was found after going missing in Tai Po on Sunday morning.

Around 9 am yesterday (Dec 2), a 36-year-old man named Chan left his 88 Tin Shui Road apartment in Tin Shui Wai.

After some time, his wife realized that he was taking too long to return and contacted the police at 6 pm on the same day, along with tracking and discovering his phone location, to find that he was last seen at the Bride's Pool Road located in Tai Po.

The police listed this as a missing person case and had deployed police and firefighters to search for the missing man.

At 11.35 am, Chan was later found around Shap Pat Heung Road, located in Yuen Long, with no injuries.

He was taken to Pok Oi Hospital for a medical check-up.
