The team maintained a strong lead after finishing the first two bouts 5-4 and 10-5, as members of the two teams took swipes and jabs at one another.

Cheung won a gold medal in the men's foil individual fencing event last Friday.
He was one of the scholarship awardees under HKBU's Talented Athletes Direct Admission Scheme in 2022. He is currently studying in the Bachelor of Physical Education and Recreation Management program.
