With the public consultation for the new Policy Address soon to be launched, chief executive John Lee Ka-chiu on Friday released a video reviewing the government’s past year of work, also calling on citizens to express their views in the consultation.

The video interviewed citizens who benefited from government policies in a bid to review the SAR’s past year of work, including its crackdown on hygiene black spots, the introduction of the “Strive and Rise Programme,” and the widening of the scope for the Health Care Vouchers.
Lee said in the video that, over the past year, the SAR government has striven to fight the pandemic, boost the economy, and solve livelihood issues.
“Knowing that you lead a happy life makes me happy,” Lee said.
He added that in the coming year, the government will continue to adopt a “result-oriented” approach and to fight for Hong Kong’s economy and development at full steam.
