Blaze at Wan Chai residential building

A fire broke out at a residential building on 8 O'Brien Road in Wan Chai around noon today. Flames were seen shooting from a unit on the second floor of the building.

Fire services responded to the incident, mobilizing one jet and two breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

A man was injured from the fire and was sent to the hospital.

According to reports, an air conditioner exploded inside the unit. The cause of the fire remains, as yet, unclear.
