The reporting feature, which was integrated into the website of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council on Wednesday (Mar 26), was introduced in response to concerns regarding certain organizations and individuals involved in "Taiwan independence," including separatist elements, officials, and online influencers, who have been implicated in promoting unlawful activities and facilitating aggression, said the spokesman for the Office Chen Binhua.
He expressed grave concern over the developments and affirmed that severe consequences would be imposed on such activities.
Furthermore, Chen criticized the Democratic Progressive Party in Taiwan for allegedly "fabricating various charges to suppress dissenting voices on the island, stifling freedom of speech, and resorting to threats, intimidation, and persecution against political opponents as well as political parties, organizations, and individuals who support the peaceful development and integration of cross-Strait relations."
In conclusion, Chen urged individuals possessing relevant information to report details to the designated email account, emphasizing that all whistleblowers' info and legal rights would be strictly protected in accordance with the law.
