Hong Kong is the first port within China where Royal Caribbean resumes cruise trips.
Spectrum of the Seas offers two- to four-night cruise-to-nowhere trips departing from Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.
It is 16-story high and weighs 168,000 tonnes. With around 2,000 rooms, its maximum capacity is 5,600 people.
The cruise company had postponed the sailing date three times before, as it blamed longer quarantine periods imposed by the SAR government.
Hong Kong has started allowing cruise companies to operate cruise-to-nowhere trips from July if they meet vaccination and other health requirements.
Spectrum of the Seas was supposed to set sail in the end of July.
