Dow opens higher

U.S. stocks traded slightly higher on Monday as investors geared up for one of the busiest weeks of the first-quarter earnings season, CNBC reports.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average won 55 points, while the S&P 500 inched 0.2 percent higher. The Nasdaq Composite climbed by 0.3 percent

Tesla shares climbed by more than 2 percent ahead of the electric carmaker’s earnings report after the bell Monday.
