AAC Tech to spin off optics business

AAC Technologies (2018) announced a proposed spin-off and listing of its optics business, which will be held through AAC Optics (Changzhou) on a stock exchange in mainland China.

The sponsor of the proposed spin-off and separate listing of AAC Optics submitted an application to the Jiangsu Province Regulatory Bureau of the CSRC to begin the pre-listing tutoring process.

The company had submitted an application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for approval.
