Shenzhen aims to double its economy in volume, gross domestic product per person in 2035.

The city has proposed to build a capital of innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity with global influence, to become a model for China to build a powerful, modern socialist country, and take the lead in realizing socialist modernization, reported the mainland media.

Meanwhile, the Shenzhen municipal committee suggested developing the city into a high-quality development area with the city's economic competitiveness taking the leading position in the world.
