The MTR Lai King station was temporarily affected by a signal issue Monday morning, resulting in the trains on the Tung Chung Line and Airport Express being delayed for around 15 minutes.

The MTR Corporation announced a signaling fault near Lai King Station at around 11.35 am.
Tung Chung Line trains passing through Lai King and Nam Cheong Station, and Airport Express trains passing through Tsing Yi and Kowloon Station were required to travel slowly.
Airport Express trains from Hong Kong and AsiaWorld-Expo Stations, along with Tung Chung line trains from Hong Kong and Tung Chung Station, had an increase in travel time of around eight to ten minutes.
The deadline for the In-town Check-in Service at Hong Kong Station was also extended from 90 minutes to 120 minutes ahead of the scheduled flight departure time.
Around 11:50 pm, the MTR announced that the signal failure had been fixed and the train services had gradually returned to normal, along with the In-town Check-in Service deadline.
