US congressional investigators have released previously unseen photographs from Jeffrey Epstein's private island in the US Virgin Islands, revealing unsettling interiors including a dentist-style chair and telephone speed-dial list with male names.

The House Oversight Committee's Democratic members published 14 images Wednesday from Little St. James Island, showing bedrooms, bathrooms and mansion interiors. One photo features what appears to be a dental treatment chair positioned centrally in a dim room with walls displaying male portraits and masks.
Another image captures a chalkboard with words including "power," "deception" and "political," while a close-up reveals a telephone speed-dial panel listing partially redacted names such as Darren, Mike, Patrick, Rich and Larry.
House Oversight Committee ranking Democrat Robert Garcia stated these images "allow the public a glimpse into the world of Jeffrey Epstein," released to provide transparency and help piece together the full picture of Epstein's alleged crimes.
Epstein died in prison while awaiting trial on charges of operating a massive underage sex trafficking network. His private island, nicknamed "Lolita Island" by media, reportedly hosted parties involving underage girls. The newly released photographs are expected to renew scrutiny of Epstein's connections and investigation direction.
