Tokyo Disney visitor sparks outrage with lingerie-style outfit at theme park

A Japanese woman identifying as Uta has triggered widespread criticism after posting photos and videos of herself wearing lingerie as outerwear at Tokyo DisneySea theme park. 

The images, shared on X platform with DisneySea hashtags, show the recent university graduate openly wearing bras beneath an unbuttoned shirt while sporting Minnie Mouse ears, prompting the term "Lingerie Disney" to trend online.

The incident drew intense backlash from social media users who condemned the attire as inappropriate for a family-oriented environment, with comments stating "this is unacceptable where there are many children" and "don't pollute children's eyes with your dirty clothing." Some users reported the content to park authorities.

Tokyo Disney operator Oriental Land Company confirmed awareness of the situation while declining to comment on individual cases. The company reiterated its dress code policy prohibiting clothing that may disturb other guests or violate public order and morals, noting staff may remind visitors of guidelines or request departures when necessary. 

The woman's social media posts suggest she recently left a major real estate company to pursue photography opportunities, potentially using the controversy to promote future projects.
