China Evergrande Group (0333) said contracted sales of properties for January dropped about 6.1 percent year-on-year to 40.55 billion yuan (HK$44.9 billion).
The contracted sales area rose 16 percent to 45 million sq m and the average price of contracted sales was 9,016 yuan per sq m. A total of 1,246 projects are suspended and 1,040 of the group's sales centers are closed until February 20 due to the novel coronavirus.
Citi forecast a 8 percent drop in mainland home sales. It also forecast 20 percent and 10 percent year on year drops in mainland properties in the first and second quarter respectively.
Midea Real Estate Holding (3990) meanwhile said contracted sales in January totaled 5.21 billion yuan - a year-on-year drop of 11.7 percent.
The sold constructed area was 495,000 sq m, down 16.7 percent year-on-year.
Ronshine China (3301) said contracted sales in January fell 2 percent year-on-year to 7.35 billion yuan. The constructed area was 341,100 sq m and the average selling price is 21,574 yuan per sq m.
Jingrui (1862) meanwhile, said contracted sales in January fell 0.7 percent year-on-year to 5.5 billion yuan. The contracted sales area fell 12.3 percent year-on-year to 246,000 sq m.
And Yuzhou Properties (1628) said contracted sales in January rose 22.79 percent year-on-year to 3.4 billion yuan.
The contracted sales area was 212,009 sq m, up 17.59 percent year-on-year.
