The 2025/26 Hong Kong racing season is about to burst into life, with Sha Tin staging the official opening on Sunday before the action switches to Happy Valley three days later for a glittering midweek launch.
Last season’s Happy Valley Finale drew a bumper crowd of over 25,000, and the Jockey Club is promising an equally electric atmosphere this Wednesday as Fashion Wednesdays makes its debut.
In an exclusive collaboration with fashion powerhouses Ralph Lauren, Dunhill, Self-Portrait and Ferragamo, the Beer Garden will become a runway-inspired playground for three spectacular nights on September 10, 17 and 24. Each evening will embrace the unique style of New York, London and Milan fashion weeks, blending horse racing with high fashion like never before.
Entertainment is front and center, beginning with international vocal and dance sensation Rechelle Mansour on opening night, supported by a dazzling LED lion dance. Mansour returns on September 17 before pop powerhouse Natalia D takes the stage on September 24, closing the fashion series in style.
Off the track, Happy Wednesday regulars can expect new experiences — from a magazine-style photo booth and backstage makeup station to the ever-popular “Best Look Contest,” giving racegoers the chance to be crowned the night’s style star.
A refreshed food and beverage lineup will complement the fashion theme, with chic bites and runway-ready indulgences available alongside craft beer and prosecco. Diners can also elevate their experience at racecourse hotspots including The Beat, Vantage, Keiba, The Gallery, Stable Bend Terrace and Leading Edge, where thematic menus and cocktails add another layer of glamour.
With world-class racing as the backdrop, Happy Valley’s season-opening party is more than a race meeting — it’s a celebration of Hong Kong’s unique blend of sport, style and city nightlife.
Dress to impress, strike a pose, and prepare for a fashionable start to the season under the lights of Happy Valley.
