Seatbelt on Ma On Shan KMB 86K bus reportedly cut; police probe

A KMB 86K bus in Ma On Shan was reportedly targeted for seatbelt damage on Wednesday (Jan 28), just days after new legislation mandating seatbelt use on buses came into effect.

According to police, the incident occurred around 5pm. Officers were dispatched after a report was received, and the case has been classified as criminal damage.

The case is being investigated by the Sha Tin District Criminal Investigation Department, with no arrests reported so far.
