Driver arrested for drink-driving after car hits three poles in Kwai Chung

A 46-year-old man was arrested for suspected drink-driving after his car hit three roadside poles in Kwai Chung on Monday night.

Police received a report at about 9pm that a private car travelling along Tai Wo Hau Road towards Kwai Chung lost control and crashed into the poles near Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School.

Officers arrived to find the driver, surnamed Lo, with alcohol on his breath. He failed a breathalyzer test and was arrested. Lo remains in custody for investigation.

No one was injured in the incident.
