Twin sisters missing after Tai Po blaze confirmed dead

Two twin sisters who went missing following the fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po had been confirmed dead on Monday.

After the Tai Po fire occurred on Wednesday, many missing-person posts began to circulate online, featuring photographs of the twin sister of the fashion designer and influencer Mountain Yam Long-ching, Yam Ting and Yam Kuen, , stating that the pair was last possibly seen on the roof of Wang Tai House.

Hong Kong St John Ambulance later on Monday announced on its social media that it had been notified by the family that the pair of twin sisters had tragically perished in the fire.

The organisation said it was deeply grieved and on behalf of the Hong Kong Island Region and all members, extended its deepest condolences to the sisters’ family.
