The players from Liverpool, the 2025 Premier League champions, are set to arrive in Hong Kong this afternoon to play friendly matches in the city. The 29-member squad, featuring most of the key players, is reportedly staying at a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Liverpool has announced its 29-man squad for the Asia tour, featuring all major new signings, including German international Florian Wirtz, who joined for 116 million pounds. The others included Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez.
Star players Mohamed Salah as well as Luis Díaz, who is reportedly being pursued by Bayern Munich and Barcelona, are also visiting Hong Kong with teammates.
In addition to the first-team squad, several Liverpool legends—including Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, Lucas Leiva, Sami Hyypiä, Jerzy Dudek, and Niamh Fahey—as well as chief executive, Billy Hogan and commercial director Ben Latty, will join the tour.
Liverpool played a closed-door friendly at their training ground on Sunday, UK time, thrashing Stoke City 5-0 with Darwin Nunez scoring a hat-trick and Federico Chiesa and youngster Rio Ngumoha adding one each.
In the evening, the team departed for Hong Kong to begin their Asia tour.
Liverpool's 29-man squad for Hong Kong is at full strength, with all key first-team players except Chiesa making the trip.
On the evening of July 24, Liverpool will hold a pre-match press conference, followed by an open training session at the Kai Tak Sports Park.
The team will face Serie A side AC Milan in a friendly on July 26 at 7.30 pm. AC Milan is expected to arrive in Hong Kong in the afternoon on Thursday (Jul 24).
After the match, Liverpool will travel to Japan to play Yokohama F. Marinos on July 30.
