According to screenshots of online messages, a school alerted parents that it had received police information regarding one of its students being pushed into the sea by a man suspected of having mental health issues while fishing with a parent at Hoi Sham Park on July 12.
The school urged parents to remain vigilant and avoid letting children go out alone to prevent similar incidents.
