The Kai Tak Mall -- located within the Kai Tak Sports Park -- kicked off its soft opening on Wednesday, aiming to become Hong Kong's next "sportainment" landmark.
The Mall features three towers that cover nearly 700,000 square feet and attracts over 30 international sports brands, some of which are making their debut in the city.
The complex also launched the largest Epicland indoor playground in Hong Kong, as well as a bowling center with over 40 lanes spanning more than 40,000 square feet.
Other facilities include nearly 100 retail and leisure brands, along with a 24-hour fitness center chain.
The dining area includes a 20,000-square-foot food court featuring ten local and international dining brands.
Joypolis Sports, a five-story Japanese sports amusement park covering nearly 30,000 square feet, has debuted its SONIC Stadium at the Park's health and wellness center.
The Kai Tak Arena will also include an outdoor rock climbing area that stands 17.5 meters high.
Kai Tak Mall is currently in the trial operation phase with an occupancy rate exceeding 80 percent, according to the Head of Retail at Kai Tak Sports Park Limited Crystal Wong.
Over 30 merchants are introducing opening exclusive offers, with some providing up to 50 percent discounts on selected products.
