Woman falls on the escalator at Yau Tong MTR Station

A female passenger was injured after falling on the escalator at Yau Tong MTR station.

The accident occurred around 1.15 pm when she was found lying on the escalator with her arms and legs fully extended. According to the photos circulating online, a shopping cart was also seen next to her on the escalator.

She was rushed to United Christian Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
