Man falls from height and crashes through roof of double-decker bus in Quarry Bay

A man reportedly attempted suicide on Monday afternoon in Quarry Bay and landed on a double-decker bus, crashing through its roof.

The incident happened at around 4 pm when the Route 99 Citybus was traveling along eastbound King's Road. 

The man was said to have fallen from a height off Wai Lee Building, piecing through the roof of the bus.

The man was rushed to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital unconscious, where he was pronounced dead.

A police investigation is ongoing.
