Coldplay frontman Chris Martin inadvertently sparked rumors of infidelity when he caught Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, in a seemingly intimate moment during the band’s concert at Gillette Stadium in Boston, Massachusetts.
During the performance, Martin engaged the crowd with the beloved "kiss cam" tradition, playfully scanning the audience for couples to spotlight. However, the lighthearted moment took an awkward turn when the camera landed on Byron and Cabot, who appeared locked in a close embrace, swaying together.
"Oh, look at these two," Martin quipped as the footage showed Byron standing behind Cabot with his arms wrapped affectionately around her.
The mood quickly shifted when the pair realized they were on the big screen—Byron’s face flashed with panic as he abruptly pulled away, while Cabot covered her face and turned her back to the camera.
The crowd erupted in laughter as Martin jokingly remarked, "Oh, what... either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy."
The clip has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, with many users calling out Byron, who is reportedly married.
Internet sleuths claim to have found his wife’s social media profiles, which have allegedly been flooded with comments. Reports suggest she has since removed her last name from her accounts.
Byron has served as CEO of Astronomer, a software development company, for nearly two years, while Cabot oversees HR as Chief People Officer. Neither has publicly addressed the allegations.
