The man, who has frequented the area for years, is known to local residents for hiking completely naked, urinating indiscriminately on the hillside, and allegedly intimidating female hikers.
After multiple failed attempts due to cold weather reducing his activity, the "Scoop" team finally encountered him on the only route he had to take. As he began to undress, host Kitty Lai approached and asked: "Why do you take off all your clothes to hike?"
The man paused, replied "Is that so?" and quickly fled uphill. Lai pursued him while asking whether he had been frightening women and urinating in the hills, telling him: "Do you know this is illegal?"
The man fled onto treacherous terrain not suitable for regular hikers. During the chase, Lai screamed after her forehead was cut by a rusty anti-theft barbed wire fence. The man escaped. Lai sustained a long, visible bloody scratch on her right forehead and later required a tetanus shot at a clinic.

The crew later discovered the man had built a makeshift campsite on the hillside with a wooden-framed tent, rudimentary water system for showering, and personal belongings including biscuits.
Despite the public exposure, the man reportedly continues his activities. A tipster using professional bird-watching binoculars captured him naked at a higher elevation, snacking and sunbathing.
Following the broadcast, Lai confirmed on Instagram that her wound has fully healed.
