Man, 40, arrested for alleged upskirting in Mong Kok MTR station

A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of taking illicit videos up a woman's skirt on an escalator at Mong Kok MTR Station on Monday evening.

The arrest was made by police officers who were conducting anti-crime patrols in the station. During their patrol, they spotted the man allegedly using his mobile phone to film up the skirt of a female passenger on the station's escalator.

After an investigation, officers arrested the suspect, Lau, on suspicion of unlawfully photographing or observing intimate body parts. He is currently being detained for further investigation.

It is understood that the victim and the arrested man were not acquainted with each other.
