Hong Kong McDonald’s is teaming up with the beloved Japanese franchise Chiikawa to bring fans an irresistibly cute Happy Meal toy collection!
Starting July 28 at 11am, customers can get their hands on one of eight exclusive Chiikawa toys—with a new character released every Monday and Friday at select 40 locations.
There are two ways to collect these charming miniatures:
1. In-store purchase at designated McDonald’s branches
Visit any of the 40 participating McDonald’s branches starting July 28. Simply order a Happy Meal at the counter (not available via self-order kiosks) to receive a free Chiikawa toy with your meal.
2. Order via McDonald’s app
For a seamless experience, McDonald’s App users can log in during the promotion period and click the event banner to access the special ordering site. Two Happy Meal options are available, which will come with the toy.
After completing the purchase, customers will receive a confirmation email with a QR code, which can be redeemed at their chosen McDonald’s branch to collect both the meal and the limited-edition Chiikawa toy.
With eight different Chiikawa characters to collect, fans will want to check back every Monday and Friday for the latest release.
