Hong Kong singer-actress Karen Mok Man-wai has reportedly purchased a luxury apartment in Mid-Levels residential development, Dynasty Court, for over HK$84 million.
The three-bedroom unit with a floor area of 2,153 square feet and a parking space changed hands last month for HK$84.5 million, or more than HK$39,000 per sq ft.
The registered buyer is listed as Morris Karen Joy, which matches the Hong Kong Diva’s legal name.
The luxury project, developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016), comprises five residential towers. It is also known for its high-profile residents, including celebrities and former government officials such as actor Raymond Lam Fung, and former Secretary for Economic Development and Labour, Stephen Ip Shu-kwan.
Mok has made real estate investments in the past. In 2016, she purchased four adjoining industrial units in Cheung Sha Wan, for nearly HK$27 million. The units, totaling 4,251 sq ft, were bought at an average price of HK$6,351 per sq ft.
