Saudis to hold Asia summit in city

Saudi Arabia's Future Investment Initiative Institute will host its inaugural Priority Asia Summit in Hong Kong on December 7 and 8 this year.

Welcoming the news, Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po said it demonstrates Hong Kong's position and role in connecting the SAR, Asia and the world, and will further deepen ties with its partners and counterparts around the globe, "especially with those in the Middle East."

The event will be supported by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (0388).

Since 2017, the FII Institute has been organizing its annual Future Investment Initiative in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
