Hang Seng Index falls at noon on Friday

Hong Kong stocks declined by noon on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell by 229 points or 0.9 percent, to 26,160 points at noon.

The half-day market turnover was HK$151 billion. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index was up by 1.25 percent to 5,012 points at noon.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index was up by 0,12 percent to 4,183  points and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index went up by 0.24 percent to 15,783 points at the midday close.
