Hong Kong stocks rise at midday

Hong Kong stocks rally at midday on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index increased by 205 points, or 0.79 percent, to 26,104 points.

The half day market turnover is HK$165.87 billion.

Tech gauge rose 1.32 percent to 4,994 points.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index rose 1.27 percent, or 52.26 points, to 4,164 points. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index rose 2.57 percent to 15,496 points
