China allows qualified foreign investors to trade treasury bond futures for hedging

China has allowed qualified foreign investors to trade treasury bond futures for hedging purposes, the securities regulator said on Friday.

The move is intended to boost the appeal of yuan bond assets. It will also enrich risk management tools for overseas institutional investors, the China Securities Regulatory Commission said.
