Hong Kong stocks end lower on Thursday

Hong Kong stocks continued to dip at the end of the trading session on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 524 points, or 2.02 percent, to 25,500 points.

The market turnover rate was HK$306 billion.

The Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 112 points to 5,996 points.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index fell 56.43 points, or 1.39 percent, to 4,006 points, while the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index dropped 286 points to 13,901 points.
