Hong Kong stock remained sluggish in the afternoon on Thursday

Hong Hong stock stays low in the afternoon on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index dropped 432 points to 25,593 points, with a half day market turnover of HK$153.53 billion.

The Hang Seng Tech Index fell 1.58 percent to 5,027 points.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index slipped 38.75 points, or 0.95 percent, to 4,024 points, and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index fell 157.45 points to 14,030 points.

Tencent (0700) dropped 1.6 percent, Xiaomi (1810) up 4 percent, and CNOOC (0883) up 3 percent.
