Xiaomi’s (1810) Chairman Lei Jun announced the company’s launch of the trillion-parameter large model Mimo-V2-Pro on his social media account on Thursday, emphasizing the expansion of the action space of frontier intelligence and generalizing from coding to claw.
Lei noted that Xiaomi’s progress could accelerate faster than anticipated, despite its rather low-profile approach in the AI sector.
He added that the company’s research and development and capital investment in AI development this year is expected to exceed HK$16 billion. He believes that with the company’s continuous investment, Xiaomi will deliver outstanding performance under the AI era.
According to the introduction, the Xiaomi MiMo-V2-Pro is specially built for high-intensity, real-world Claw application flows. It features over 1T total parameters with 42B active, and adopts an innovative hybrid attention mechanism.
The MiMo-V2-Pro model is now officially open for API services, supporting up to 1M-token context, with tiered pricing based on usage volume. MiMo-V2-Pro has been launched simultaneously on multiple platforms and is partnering with five major agent development frameworks, including OpenClaw, OpenCode, KiloCode, Blackbox, and Cline.
