Hang Seng Index rises at the open

The Hang Seng Index rallied in the early morning trading session.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index increased by 338 points, or 1.3 percent to 26,685 points. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 1.9 percent to around 5,850 points.
