Dongfeng’s EV unit Voyah files for Hong Kong listing

Voyah Automotive Technology, the electric vehicle band of Dongfeng Motor(0489), has applied to list on the Hong Kong main board by way of introduction, while the state-owned automaker moves ahead with plans to privatize its listed parent.

Dongfeng shares jumped as much as 6.1 percent on Friday before paring gains to trade 5.4 percent higher at HK$9.63.

Voyah’s cumulative production exceeded 200,000 vehicles as of April. The company sold 66,680 units in the first seven months of 2025, compared with 80,116 for the whole of last year.

In addition to sales in China, Voyah exports through designated distributors to overseas markets including Norway, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates.
