Hong Kong shares rose on Thursday, lifted by gains in technology stocks.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index was up 115 points, or 0.43 percent, at 26,633 at midday, with turnover of HK$175.7 billion.
The China Enterprises Index rose 56 points, or 0.6 percent, to 9,499, while the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 1.91 percent to 6,443.
Zijin Mining (2899) led blue-chip gainers, rising 6.28 percent to HK$31.5.
Among Hang Seng Tech components, Hua Hong Semiconductor (1347) hit a record high of HK$68 before closing at HK$67.3, up 6.4 percent.
In mainland markets, the Shanghai Composite Index was down 6 points, or 0.18 percent, at 3,846, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose 43 points, or 0.33 percent, to 13,399.
