Tally of newly finished private homes drops 66pc in January

Private home completion in Hong Kong slumped by 66 percent month-on-month to 1,886 units in January, according to data from the Rating and Valuation Department.

This figure is the lowest since September 2024, but accounts for around 9 percent of the projected completion for this year.
