The company also recorded the largest annual increase in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment, outperforming all other DJSWI members.
Hongkong Land’s chief executive, Michael Smith, said that the inclusion in the DJSWI is a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to creating a more sustainable future.
As of May 2024, Hongkong Land has successfully reduced Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 32 percent compared to its 2019 baseline, surpassing half of its 2030 carbon reduction target.
