HSI opens higher on the last day of the Year of the Dragon

The Hang Seng Index opened 139 points higher or 0.7 percent at 20,337 points this morning, led by tech companies such as Tencent (0700), Baidu (9888) and Xiaomi  (1810).

The Hang Seng Tech Index was up by 0.8 percent to 4,723 points.
