Zijin Mining drops 8pc after US ban

Zijin Mining (2899) has been added to the US restricted list, causing its shares to drop nearly 8 percent at one point this morning, reaching HK$14.18.
The company and its three subsidiaries have been added to the entity list under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act by the US Department of Homeland Security.
Entities on this list are banned from importing goods to the US.
