HK Electric Investments annual profit rises to HK$2.7b

HK Electric Investments (2638) said net profit increased by about 17.4 percent year-on-year to HK$2.73 billion last year.

It declared a final dividend of 16.09 HK cents per share stapled unit.

The final dividend, together with the interim distribution of HK15.94 cents per SSU, brings the total distribution to HK 32.03 cents per SSU for 2020.

Revenue fell by 3.25 percent to HK$10.38 billion.

HK Electric Investments said it delivered 10.13 billion kilowatt hours of electricity over the year. It has frozen tariffs for 2021 and will also extend relief measures.
