Now in full swing at Central Harbourfront, Art Central 2025 is celebrating its 10th edition as a cornerstone of Hong Kong Art Week.
With its largest-ever program, the fair continues to serve as a vital platform for contemporary art, drawing both seasoned collectors and emerging buyers to discover a diverse range of works.
"As Hong Kong further solidifies its position as a pivotal player in the global art scene, this unprecedented presentation creates invaluable opportunities for local and international audiences to engage with pioneering artistic practices of the 20th century alongside celebrated talent at the cutting edge of contemporary art today," said Corey Andrew Barr, fair director of Art Central.
Supported by lead partner UOB, the fair brings 108 galleries from over 40 countries, showcasing works from 500 artists.
Among its highlights is Legend, a new sector dedicated to artists born before 1970, featuring luminaries like Japanese Fluxus artist Ay-O and renowned Hong Kong video artist May Fung.
Meanwhile, Neo returns for its second year, spotlighting fresh global talent.
Adding to the spectacle is a large-scale installation by Nadim Abbas, titled A Brazen Rift (After Branzi), alongside Yi Tai's Sculpture and Installation Projects and a robust Video Art program at Cinema Central.
"As we open the doors to Art Central 2025, we celebrate the remarkable talent and creativity that define this year's fair," said Christine Ip, head of group strategic communications and brand at UOB.
Art Central is running through Sunday at Central Harbourfront, with tickets available on its official website.
