I have seen before a picture of a polar bear that is just skin and bones. It reflects the severity of the accelerated melting of polar glaciers caused by global warming.
The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s (CUHK) Jockey Club Climate Change Museum is the first museum in the world that uses climate change as its key theme. Inside the museum, they provide exhibition items related to climate change, like animals, fossils, biological specimens, Antarctica Emperor penguin eggs, seal skin from the Arctic, and more, donated by Doctor Rebecca Lee Lok Sze, a polar explorer.
In addition, the museum organizes a series of multimedia interactive exhibitions to inspire public awareness of climate change and self-reflection in their daily life. Moreover, the museum provides a 2-hour session of free guided tours and walks around the facilities in the museum every Saturday morning, taking the visitors around the different natural views at CUHK, increasing the public’s awareness of sustainability and green life.
