Taiwan’s EVA Air has been named the world’s cleanest airline in Skytrax’s 2025 rankings, dethroning last year’s winner, Cathay Pacific, which fell to third place. Japan’s ANA All Nippon Airways secured second, while China’s Hainan Airlines and China Southern Airlines entered the top 10, ranking sixth and tenth, respectively.

The Skytrax World’s Cleanest Airlines list is based on passenger evaluations of cabin and seat cleanliness, crew grooming standards, and cleaning frequency. Notably, all the top 10 airlines this year are from Asia.
Last year, Cathay Pacific claimed the top spot, with EVA Air in third. This year’s rankings, however, saw a reshuffle, with Qatar Airways (4th), Singapore Airlines (5th), and newcomers like STARLUX Airlines (7th) making the list.
