China Evergrande NEV suspends trading after results delay

Trading in the shares of China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle (0708) has been suspended after the firm delayed the publication of its 2024 results.

The results announcement has been delayed until further notice, it said. 

The company has not been able to secure any strategic investors or purchasers who can provide financing to supplement the depleting levels of funding available to the group, it said in an exchange filing on Tuesday. 

The firm has therefore been unable to secure the commencement of site and other audit work by its auditors and other relevant professional advisers, the filing said.
