Wall Street opened lower on Friday as investors continued to navigate the complex landscape of tariffs, with FedEx becoming the latest firm to adjust its annual projections due to economic uncertainties.

At 09:30 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 324.31 points, or 0.77 percent, to 41,629.01, the S&P 500 lost 44.29 points, or 0.78 percent, to 5,618.60 and the Nasdaq Composite lost 171.73 points, or 0.97 percent , to 17,519.89, at the opening bell.
