SFC approves two more virtual asset trading licenses

Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission has issued licenses to two new virtual asset trading platforms: PantherTrade, operated by Futu, and YAX, under Tiger Brokers. This brings the total number of licensed virtual asset trading platforms in Hong Kong to nine.

The SFC’s data shows that nine more platforms remain on the applicant list, with five likely to receive licenses soon.
