BOCHK launches Interbank Account Data Sharing related service

BOC Hong Kong (2388) officially launched the service featuring a consolidated view of interbank accounts and a streamlined credit application process, under the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Interbank Account Data Sharing program.

The service allows customers to access their deposit accounts information from other banks through mobile banking or corporate banking electronic platform iGTB NET, while a streamlined loan approval process is offered to corporate customers.

The HKMA launched the IADS pilot program at the beginning of 2024, aiming to allow customers to securely and efficiently share their bank account data with other banks subject to customer consent.
